The Courage
to Succeed
This keynote presentation shows how we can all become peak
performers through our attitude and our reactions to change,
adversity, and challenge. It is designed for groups who want
to boost morale, provide their people with a life, and inspire
them to do their very best on a daily basis.
About Jackie Pflug
Jackie Pflug was a passenger on an Egypt Air flight that was
hijacked by terrorists in 1985. When the terrorists’
demands for fuel were not met, she was shot in the head, thrown
from the plane onto the tarmac, and left for dead. Unlike
the 59 other passengers shot that day, Pflug lived.
Pflug’s presentations give audiences more than a hijacking
story. Her message employs methods for weathering adversity,
reaching for dreams and goals, and not giving up. Her experience
has opened her eyes to all of the obstacles that consume us
in our lives and careers. Though we are powerless over many
of the forces that shape our lives, Jackie believes we have
power over our responses, and power in the choices we make.
